Friday, March 13, 2009 vs. Peoria Rivermen

Time: 7 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6 p.m.).

Save Those Tickets: This is the rescheduled date for the home game that was originally set for Wednesday, March 11. All tickets previously issued for the March 11 game will be valid for admission to this game. Existing March 11 ticket holders who are unable to attend this contest must exchange them for tickets to any remaining 2008-09 regular season home game by taking them to either The Zone (during regular business hours) or the Van Andel Arena box office (on Griffins game nights) by Tuesday, March 10. Lucky 13: Friday the 13th could prove to be lucky for several fans. If the Griffins score with 13:13 showing on the clock of any period, one lucky fan will win a pair of full season tickets for the 2009-10 season. In addition, if Jan Mursak (#13) scores a goal, 13 fans will win a Griffins prize pack.

Dollar Beers, Dollar Dogs: The ever-popular promotion runs from 6-8 p.m. Fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $1 domestic drafts, while supplies last.

Player Card Strip: The first 1,000 kids will receive the fifth and final Griffins player card strip of the season.

D-ZONE: Fans can purchase tickets for just $11 (regularly $17) and sit in the Griffins/WGRD D-Zone in section 120, where they will be able to meet members of the Free Beer & Hot Wings morning show. Wait service in your seats for the $1 dog and $1 beer specials from 6-8 p.m. is included in the deal, as well as the opportunity to enter a drawing to win a pair of Red Wings tickets. College Night: Presented by McFadden's Restaurant and Saloon, college students can visit the arena box office on the night of the game or The Zone anytime during the store's regular business hours to purchase a lower bowl ticket for just $10 with a valid student ID. While at the game, show your ID at the McFadden's concourse table to pick up a free pass to the post-game party, which is good for no cover charge and drink specials.

Library Night: Fans who present a public library card from the Grand Rapids Public Library or Kent District Library at the arena box office on the night of the game or at The Zone anytime during the store's regular business hours can purchase a lower bowl ticket for just $10 (limit four per card).

Faith and Family Night/Tin Lunchbox Giveaway: Presented by Bethany Christian Services and Appletree Christian Learning Centers, the Griffins will host their annual Faith and Family night. Faith and Family groups of 10 or more can contact the Griffins' ticket sales department at 616-774-4585 ext. 2 for great deals on a group outing. Plus, the first 2,500 fans will receive a Griffins tin lunchbox featuring Justin Abdelkader and Griff.

Bethany Fantastic Family: The two family winners of the Bethany Christian Services Fantastic Family contest will be recognized. The winners will be chosen on Tuesday, March 10 when Griff, Finn, and select players will deliver an ultimate game-night experience package to their homes.

Post-Game Testimonials: Along with their team chaplin, Tom Mellema, Griffins players and coaches will give testimonials from the team bench for the numerous church groups in attendance. All fans are welcome to head to section 122 after the game to listen to the testimonials, which will last about 10 minutes.

Post-Game Skate: Bring your skates and take to the ice for the Post-Game Open Skate.

Jersey Card Giveaway: The first 1,500 fans will receive a Jiri Hudler Detroit Red Wings jersey card, presented by Independent Bank.

Final Winning Wednesday Redemption Day: Fans who were in attendance for the Griffins' 3-1 win over Rockford on March 4 can redeem their ticket stubs for a free ticket to this game.

Mascot Mania: Nearly 20 different mascots, including Sparty, Blitz, Crash the River Rascal, Franky the Swimming Pig and Louie the Laker, will be in attendance to get fans pumped up during Mascot Mania presented by Independent Bank.

$1 Concession Specials: Fans can purchase either a 12-oz. Pepsi product or a pair of Cole's Bread Sticks (one Pizzastick, one Cheesestick) for just $1 at designated concession stands from 3-5 p.m., while supplies last.

This is the final redemption date of the season for the Reading Goals program.

Season Ticket Holder Party: The Griffins' 2009 Season Ticket Holder Party will feature a team autograph session, live music from the Rockstars, and an arena tour with visits to the Griffins newly remodeled locker room, press row and arena control room. Tickets to the party were included in the front page of all season ticket books. Griffins season ticket holders are asked to have their party ticket with them at all times on March 15, as it will be required for admission to all party events and can be redeemed for a special gift during the Griffins' team autograph session.
