Brown Joins Penguins From Wheeling

WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Pittsburgh Penguins have reassigned goaltender David Brown to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton from the Wheeling Nailers, it was announced on Friday.

Brown, 24, has appeared in 17 games with the Nailers this season, posting a 10-4-1 record with a 2.89 goals against average and .914 save percentage. He has also appeared in four games with the Penguins this season, posting a 1-2-0 record with a 3.94 goals against average and .841 save percentage.

The native of Stoney Creek, ON has compiled a 10-9-1 record with a 2.60 goals against average with a .888 save percentage in 23 games with the Penguins over parts of two seasons.
