Goldeyes Place Carr on Waivers

WINNIPEG - Winnipeg Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced today that right-handed pitcher Nick Carr has been placed on irrevocable waivers for the purpose of granting his release.

Carr, 25, has been on the inactive list since June 11. In 11 games with the Goldeyes this season, he had a 5.06 ERA with a 1-0 record and four saves.

The Goldeyes remain with 20 players on their active roster, including 11 pitchers and nine position players.
