Atlanta Gladiators News Release

Five in a Row! Matt Anderson notched an assist for the Gladiators in Saturday night's 5-4 loss against Mississippi to push his point scoring streak to five games. Anderson has now posted at least one point in each of the Gladiators last five games. During his current five game point-scoring streak, Anderson has posted 3 goals and 4 assists for 7 points for the Gladiators.

Also at Five! Lou Dickenson notched a goal for Gwinnett in Saturday night's 5-4 loss against Mississippi to extend his point scoring streak to five games as well. Dickenson has notched at least one point in each of Gwinnett's past five games and has 4 goals and 3 assists during his current point-scoring streak. Dickenson's longest point scoring streak of the season is 9 games from October 28th through November 20th.

Give me another Five! Jeff Campbell collected an assist in Saturday's 5-4 loss against Mississippi. For Campbell it was his fifth consecutive game with at least one assist as the forward has put together his second longest assist streak of the season. Campbell's season high 13 game assist streak is also the ECHL season long for most consecutive games with at least one assist. During his current five game assist streak, the Hensall, Ontario native has posted 7 assists for Gwinnett.

On Record Pace: With an assist in Saturday's 5-4 loss against Mississippi, Campbell collected his 39th assist of the season. It is the fastest that the Hensall, Ontario native has reached 39 assists in his career. Despite missing six games this season due to a call up to AHL Grand Rapids, Campbell is currently on pace to post 85 assists this season which would tie Brad Schell's team record of 85 assists set last season with Gwinnett.

Just two Back: Jamie Milam notched an assist for Gwinnett in a 5-4 loss against Mississippi on Saturday night and currently ranks sixth in scoring among ECHL defensemen. Milam has posted 27 points this season off of 8 goals and 19 assists for Gwinnett in 37 games this season and sits just two points behind both Alaska's Peter Metcalfe, Reading's PJ Atherton and Florida's David Cornacchia for the top spot in scoring among defensemen in the league.

Upcoming Milestones: Defenseman Jamie Milam needs 6 assists for 50 in his ECHL career... forward Bryson Busniuk is 5 goals shy of 50 in his ECHL career... defenseman Jeff Mason needs just 8 assists for 50 in his ECHL career... goaltender Craig Kowalski is 725 minutes shy of 7,000 minutes in his ECHL career (about 13 games)...
