Vancouver Giants News Release
Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants are thrilled to announce the acquisition of 2004-born forward Connor Levis (Vancouver, B.C.) from the Kamloops Blazers in exchange for a first-round draft pick in 2025, a second-round draft pick in 2024 and a fourth-round draft pick in 2026.
Levis, 19, was a seventh-round selection by the Winnipeg Jets in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft (210th overall), after registering 27 goals and adding 40 assists for 67 points last season on a very deep Kamloops team. This season, the 6-foot-2, 195 lb. forward ranks third on the Blazers with 28 points in 37 games (10G-18A).
"We're really happy to add an NHL drafted player with Memorial Cup experience to our forward group," Giants General Manager Barclay Parneta said. "Connor was a big part of the winning culture in Kamloops and we look forward to him joining us on our road trip later this week."
Levis, who is from Vancouver and attended St. George's School from 2017-20, has collected 151 career points (62G-89A) in 195 Western Hockey League games, all with Kamloops. He also has 16 career playoff points (4G-12A) in 31 career WHL playoff games, plus four points in four Memorial Cup tournament games (1G-3A).
The right-shot forward was originally the 20th overall selection in the 2019 WHL Prospects Draft.
