Raiders Deal Pakkala to Hurricanes for Third Round Pick

The Prince Albert Raiders joined in on the trade deadline action on Wednesday afternoon, sending 2004-born forward Hayden Pakkala to the Lethbridge Hurricanes. In exchange, the Raiders receive a third round pick in the 2027 WHL Prospects Draft.
Pakkala, a product of Okotoks, AB, played 166 games with the Raiders, totaling 23 goals and 36 assists for 59 career points, as well as 187 penalty minutes.
Pakkala was acquired by the Raiders from the Winnipeg ICE back in 2021 for a ninth round pick in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.
