WENATCHEE, Wash. - The Wenatchee Wild have announced a trade with the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League (WHL), sending 2006-born forward Oscar Lovsin to Seattle for in exchange for 2005-born forward Cru Hanas.

Hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Lovsin is in his rookie season in the WHL after spending last season in the Alberta Elite Hockey League with the Calgary Northstars' Under-18 team. He joined the organization after being selected by the Winnipeg ICE in the sixth round of the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft, and has played 20 games in his first season with Wenatchee.

The trade allows Wenatchee to add experience up front as Hanas continues his second full WHL season. A native of Highland Village, Texas, Hanas has 65 WHL games under his belt, posting 10 points during his time with the Thunderbirds and the Medicine Hat Tigers.

The Wenatchee Wild wish Oscar Lovsin all future success on and off the ice, and proudly welcome Cru Hanas to the Wild family.
