Oshawa Generals News Release

For the first time since joining the Generals, head coach Todd Miller is set to face-off against his former team, the Barrie Colts.

Miller spent ten seasons coaching with the Colts organization since accepting the head coaching position with the Generals. After his first ten games with the Generals, his team owns a 5-3-0-2 record, which is good enough for 3rd in the East Division. They are coming off back-to-back wins against North Bay and Sudbury.

"We got better each day throughout the month of October," Miller said about his team. "It's now about continuing that into November."

Barrie enters this game 4-5-0-1 on the season. Goaltending has been the biggest struggle for them this season, allowing 43 goals against through 10 games. Matthew Sbrocca gets the start in net tonight for the Colts as he looks to get on track after earning a .824 save percentage in October.

Oshawa's Ty Tullio will be looking to extend his point-scoring streak to 11 games, while rookie Calum Ritchie will look to build off a 12-point October, which earned him OHL Rookie of the Month honours.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7:35 PM.
