Elmira, N.Y. - Dustin Gazley scored with 21 seconds remaining in regulation to break a late tie as the Elmira Jackals earned a dramatic 4-3 victory over the Trenton Titans on Friday night at First Arena. Despite being outshot 32-13, Elmira extended its point-earning streak in Atlantic Division games to 13 contests.

Rob Bordson stole a puck in Elmira's zone and lifted it over Jackals goaltender Brian Stewart's glove from the slot, giving the Titans an early 1-0 lead at 1:13 of the opening frame.

With Elmira just seconds into its only power play of the contest, Louie Caporusso snapped a puck past Titans netminder Brad Phillips from the left circle, tying the contest at 13:06, 1-1.

Adam Presizniuk finished off a three-on-two, taking a feed from Steve Silva and firing a puck past Stewart's stick, putting Trenton back in front, 2-1, at 14:22.

Jordan Pietrus tipped in a shot by Mario Larocque just a minute and two seconds later, knotting the contest back up, 2-2, at 15:24.

In the second period, Dustin Gazley took a feed from Caporusso in the right circle and fired a puck under the cross bar as Elmira took its first lead of the contest at 3:39, 3-2.

Eric Baier set up Ryan Hayes on a breakaway minutes later, with Hayes shooting a puck under Stewart's stick at 9:09, evening the score back up, 3-3.

The Jackals and Titans were deadlocked late in the third when Kevin Harvey sprung Gazley with a pass toward the net in the left circle. Gazley backhanded the puck past Phillips' stick with 21 seconds remaining in regulation, giving Elmira the 4-3 lead and the two points, as the Jackals held off the Titans the rest of the way.
