WHO: Adirondack Thunder (26-14-4-5) vs. Atlanta Gladiators (19-24-6-1) WHAT: ECHL REGULAR SEASON GAME

WHEN: Saturday, February 18, 2017 @ 7:05 PM

WHERE: Infinite Energy Arena - Duluth, GA

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: The Thunder and Gladiators square off in a rematch of last night's game in Georgia. Atlanta claimed the first meeting of the season between the two teams with a 3-2 overtime victory. The two teams will meet once more on Sunday, March 19 at the Glens Falls Civic Center.

OVERTIME-OUT: Adirondack fell in games that extended past 60 minutes for the second straight game in yesterday's overtime loss. The Thunder fell to just 1-5 in overtime contests in the defeat, in contrast to their 5-2 record a season ago in overtime games. Combined with their shootout record, Adirondack is now 3-9 in games that have gone past regulation.

STEP BROTHERS: Rookie defenseman Stepan Falkovsky scored in the third period to tie the game as he extended his point streak to ten games. The 6-7 blueliner increased his ECHL lead in goals by a defenseman to 16 on the season, three clear of his nearest competitor. Although his goal last night was not on the man advantage, Falkovsky also leads the league in power-play goals from the blueline with 11.

DENNIS THE MENACE: Adirondack forward Dennis Kravchenko collected a goal and an assist in last night's defeat to lead all Thunder skaters. Kravchenko's two points gave him his sixth multi-point game of the season and his second in three games. Kravchenko became the 10th Thunder player to reach the 10-goal plateau as Adirondack joined Fort Wayne, Manchester and Orlando as the only teams with 10, 10-goal scorers.

STEPPENWOLFE: Thunder forward Greg Wolfe collected another assist as he netted his 37th point of the season. The Lansing, MI native has collected at least one point in 11 of his last 13 games played and has amassed 19 points (7-12-19) over that time span. In the month of February, Wolfe lead the Thunder with seven assists and is tied with Falkovsky for the Thunder lead with 11 points (4-7-11) from eight games played.

PORTER HOUSE: The Thunder added forward Chris Porter in advance of yesterday's game and he made his ECHL debut in the overtime loss in Atlanta. The 6-3 forward had spent the entirety of the 2016-17 season with the Fayetteville Fire Antz of the SPHL, where he collected 24 points (9-15-24) in 33 games played, along with a +5 rating in his first professional season.

BUZZ LIGHTYEAR: Atlanta got two assists last evening from forward Justin Buzzeo, including the lone assist on teammate Tyler Murovich's overtime game winner. Buzzeo leads the Gladiators with 50 points this season and represented his team at the Glens Falls Civic Center in January at the 2017 CCM/ECHL All-Star Classic, where he collected an assist for the All-Stars.
