INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - The Missouri Mavericks embark on a four-game home stand beginning tonight with a visit from the Quad City Mallards. Missouri will look to turn around its home fortunes against Quad City tonight as the Mallards have won their last two games here.

CHECKING THE RIVALRY
The Mavericks are facing the Mallards tonight for the eighth of 10 meetings this season. It's the fifth of five between the clubs at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena where the Mavericks are 2-2-0 against Quad city so far this season. Overall the Mavericks are 2-4-1 against the Mallards on the year. The Mavericks have dropped two in a row at home against Quad City after rattling off eight straight home wins (including playoffs) against the Mallards dating back to the start of the 2015-16 season. Six of the first seven games between Missouri and Quad City have been decided by one goal, and in the lone game that wasn't, the Mavericks scored a pair of empty-net goals.
ONE-TIMER * The Mavericks are 9-2-1 over their last 12 games after last Saturday's victory. They are 8-3-0 in their last 11 home games dating back to the start of 2017, and have scored four goals or more in eight of those games.
