The Oilers take to the ice in the 2014-15 home finale to battle the Mavericks for the tenth and final time in their season series. The two clubs are facing off for the second straight night after the Oilers claimed a 6-4 victory on Friday. Tulsa is 2-6-1 overall against Missouri and 1-2-1 at the BOK Center. Adam Pleskach, the Oilers' leading goal-scorer, has eight goals in the nine previous contests against Missouri while Mavericks winger Sebastien Thinel is averaging two points per game against Tulsa.

PACKED HOUSE WATCHES WIN

Last night at the BOK Center, the Oilers jumped out to a 4-0 lead and held off the Mavericks' comeback attempt for a 6-4 win in front of 12,784, the largest crowd of the season. Kyle Bochek and Ricards Birzinsh each dished out three assists and rookie forward Phil Brewer scored a pair of goals to lead the Oilers' attack. Brandon Anderson, who entered the game late in the first period in relief of the injured Kevin Carr, made 14 of his 29 saves in the third period to keep the Oilers in front. Tulsa ended a four-game losing streak against Missouri and beat the Mavs on home ice for the first time since February 1, 2013.

FILLING THE BARN

With 12,784 hockey fans under the same roof on Friday, the Oilers recorded the second-largest crowd in the ECHL this season. Only the Cincinnati Cyclones, who welcomed 12,825 on January 3, have drawn a higher number of fans. Friday marked the fifth time in the history of the BOK Center that the Oilers have entertained more than 10,000 people.

A LOT ON THE LINE

The Oilers are five points ahead of the Wichita Thunder in the race for the fourth playoff spot in the Central Division. Tulsa can clinch a postseason berth with a win over Missouri tonight and a regulation loss by Wichita in its game against Brampton. After tonight, the Oilers and Thunder will each have three games remaining with head-to-head match-ups coming up on Wednesday and Friday in Wichita.

THIRD LINE SHINE

The Oilers' third line trio of Kyle Bochek, Brady Ramsay, and Phil Brewer combined for six points and a +7 rating in Friday's 6-4 triumph over the Mavericks. With three assists, Bochek recorded his first three-point outing of the season and led all skaters at +3. Ramsay opened the scoring less than two minutes into the first and has now netted four of his eight goals this season in his last nine games. Brewer, appearing in just his seventh game as a pro, posted the first multi-goal game of his career with strikes in the first and third period.

MILESTONE MEN

Kevin Noble registered an assist in his 100 th pro game on Friday night. The third-year defenseman, who battled injuries throughout the first two seasons of his career, has appeared in 64 of the Oilers' 68 games this season. Defenseman Dave Pszenyczny is suiting up for his 500 th career game tonight. The Michigan native has played for seven teams in three leagues over the last nine seasons. Veteran center Jon Booras is playing in his 599 th career game tonight and will reach the 600 mark on Wednesday in Wichita.
