Orlando kicks off the second half of their "Out of Hibernation" season against the Cincinnati Cyclones tonight, playing the fourth game of a six-game road trip. Th e Solar Bears started the trip with a loss to the Evansville IceMen on Friday, came back with a 4-3 shootout win over Toledo on Saturday, and then fell to Fort Wayne 3-2 on Sunday. The Cyclones have battled their way to a tie for first place in the North Division, starting the season off without a regulation loss in their first nine games. Cincinnati has cooled off lately, suffering losses to Toledo and Evansville last Saturday and Sunday, and are 3-3-0-0 in their last six games. Tonight's meeting marks the first one of the year between Orlando and Cincinnati, and the Solar Bears and Cyclones will meet just one more time this season.

C Ryan Cruthers is one goal shy of his 100th professional goal... D Mike Liambas played his 100th professional game... Both C Mathew Sisca and D Mike Liambas began this season with the Cyclones... G John Curry is third in the ECHL with 638 saves... Orlando announced on Thursday that they intend to inform the league at the league mid-season meetings of their intentions to place a bid to host the 2015 All-Star Game. The meetings will be held in Loveland, Colorado, during the All-Star break later this month... LW Nick Petersen was named to the ECHL All-Star Team on Thursday, making him the first Solar Bear to be selected as an ECHL All-Star... D Sean Lorenz remains on reserve... F Ryan Ginand and LW Chris Lawrence are currently on the 21-day IR, both have resumed skating but neither player made the trip... D Corbin Baldwin is currently on the 21-day IR... G Mike Brodeur remains on the 21-day IR but has resumed skating drills... D Josh Caron, D Kyle Medvec, F Rob Mignardi, and LW Nick Petersen are currently recalled to the Houston Aeros... F Olivier Fortier is currently recalled to the Hamilton Bulldogs... F Jonathan Juliano and C Lee McClure were released by Orlando on Monday.

Defenseman Michael Wilson Loaned to Worcester Sharks:

The Orlando Solar Bears announced today that defenseman Michael Wilson has been loaned to the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League (AHL). Wilson has played in all 36 games for the Solar Bears, scoring two goals and adding 21 assists for 23 points. He is currently second among defensemen in assists and seventh in points. Wilson has played in 85 AHL games, all with Worcester, scoring six goals and 14 assists for 20 points.

Cyclones Notes:

F Andrew Conboy is fifth in the ECHL with 124 PIM... F Josh Shalla is tied for third in the ECHL with 5 game-winning goals... F David Pacan is ninth among rookies with 26 points and tied for third among rookies with 18 assists... D David MacDonald is tied for fourth among rookies with seven major penalties... D Chris Reed is third among defensemen with a +17 plus/minus rating... The Cyclones are 14-5-1 when outshooting their opponent... Cincinnati is 18th on the power play at 14.7 percent (23-for-156) and 11th on the penalty kill at 83.6 percent (107-for-128)... C Michael Pelech leads the Cyclones with 23 assists and 29 points... F Josh Shalla leads the Cyclones with 15 goals.
