ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Wednesday announced the following fines and suspensions resulting from ECHL Game #405, Utah at Las Vegas, on Jan. 7.

Utah's Brad Mills has been suspended for seven games and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline as a result of his game misconduct under Rule #40.3 at 14:03 of the third period.

Mills will miss Utah's games vs. Las Vegas (Jan. 11 and Jan. 12), vs. Bakersfield (Jan. 18 and Jan. 19), vs. Idaho (Jan. 21) and at Stockton (Jan. 25 and Jan. 26).

Las Vegas' Adam Huxley has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline as a result of his actions at 14:03 of the third period.

Huxley will miss Las Vegas' games at Utah (Jan. 11 and Jan. 12) and at Ontario (Jan. 16).

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Utah assistant coach Greg McCauley has been fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline as a result of his game misconduct under Rule #39.5 at 14:03 of the third period.
