Get Your Drink on at the SF Bulls Game this Thursday
January 9, 2013 - ECHL (ECHL)
San Francisco Bulls News Release
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The San Francisco Bulls Professional Hockey Team, proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, invite you to get your DRINK ON this Thursday, January 10, when the Bulls host the Idaho Steelheads at the Cow Palace at 7:15 pm. It's a Thirsty Thursday at the Cow Palace, meaning you can purchase 12-ounce draft domestic beers and at a promotional price at select locations.
Everyone knows the weekend doesn't begin on Friday, it actually starts on Thursday, and the Bulls are here to help you celebrate the beginning of the end of the week. Along with the beer specials throughout the Cow Palace concourse, drinking games will take place throughout the game. Intermission and in-between-play activities include games of Flip Cup and King's Cup- hosted by the lovely Cow Belles. "Those Bulls get all the good looking women. Wow! Whoa! You know the Bulls are doing something right down at the Cow Palace. If you're in the Bay Area, start getting your Bulls tickets and head down to a game."
In fact, there is no better way to get to the game, especially Thursday, than the Free Shuttles to and from the Balboa Park BART/Muni station. Shuttles begin running at 5:45 pm, and return to the station from the Cow Palace until no one is left at the arena.
If you want to experience the rowdiest section of the arena, the Bulls highly recommend the Redhook Ice Lounge, located behind the East goal. You'll never be more than an arm's length away from both the game and your next serving. It's a win-win situation. Join in on heckling the opposing goalie during the second period. In goal will be either Josh Robinson or Tyler Beskorowany (BESK-er-WAN-ee). Get cracking on your chants.
The puck drops at 7:15 pm, doors and beer stands open at 6 pm. If you still need tickets to the game, contact the Bulls office at 855-SF-BULLS and ask for seats near the Redhook Ice Lounge so you have quicker access. While you're having fun, remember to drink responsibly and be respectful to others because no one likes an obnoxious drunk. And remember if you're not taking advantage of public transportation, have a designated driver. See you at the Cow Palace!
