TONIGHT:

The Ontario Reign (24-5-1-3) host the Bakersfield Condors (13-16-0-1) at Citizens Business Bank Arena for their fifth of 11 meetings this season. The Reign are 3-1-0-0 against the Condors this season with 10 goals-for, and five goals-against. The Reign are 37-20-2-4 against the Condors all-time. Since Jason Christie took over behind the bench for the Reign in 2011, Ontario has held a 21-3-0-0 record over Bakersfield.

HANGIN' IN THERE:

Ontario is currently sitting in the first place spot in the ECHL with 52 points; which is just a one-point lead over the Eastern Conference-leading South Carolina Stingrays. The Reign have been chasing the Stingrays for that first place spot for most of the season and have captured it only a few times. In the west, the Reign have an 11-point lead with the Colorado Eagles in second with 41 points on the season so far.

FULL HOUSE:

In addition to leading the league in points, the Reign also leads the league in attendance. An average of 7,762 fans have poured into Citizens Business Bank Arena for Reign games this season - an increase of almost 200 fans per game to last season's average of 7,575.

HE'S A BRICK....WALL:

Condors goaltender Laurent Brossoit has been nearly impossible to solve since arriving in Bakersfield in mid-December from Oklahoma City (AHL). The Edmonton Oilers prospect started the season with the Alaska Aces and shut out the Condors in back-to-back appearances. Since being assigned to Bakersfield, Brossoit has added three more shutouts to the season for a league-leading five total in just nine appearances.

GOALIE OF THE WEEK:

Although Brossoit's nine-game ECHL performance is impressive, Michael Hutchinson has stood strong between the pipes for the Reign with three shutouts, a 2.09 goals-against average, 0.922 save percentage, the most wins(21) and minutes (1,609) in the league. Hutchinson has already earned Goaltender of the Week recognition twice, and Goaltender of the Month once.
