WET WEDNESDAY / PAJAMA NIGHT

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: After earning their third straight win last night in Wheeling, the Cyclones are back home to close out a quick two-game week as they welcome in the Kalamazoo Wings to U.S. Bank Arena. With another two points added to their ledger, Cincinnati sits just seven points out of the Eastern Conference lead with a pair of games in hand. The Clones have a 4-3-1 edge in the season series with just three more head-to-head meetings (including tonight). Each of the last three meetings have been decided by a single goal.

TONIGHT'S PROMOTION: CYCLONES WINTER HAT NIGHT - The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a Cyclones Winter Hat courtesy of Sport Clips!

SCOUTING THE WINGS: Nick Bootland's club has strung together points in four straight contestes, with their only blemish coming at the hands of the Cyclones last Friday. Thanks to their recent surge, the Wings sit seven points back of the North Division lead. Eric Kattelus has a sizeable cushion atop the team's active scoring leaderboard with 27 points (10 goals, 17 assists) in 30 games. The next closest offensive player is Sam Ftorek, who has notched five goals and 12 assists in 29 games. Matt Caria has also been a regular point-getter of late, with tallies in three of his last four tilts. Goaltender Jordan Binnington has led the way in net for the Wings this season, going 10-6-1 with a 2.21 goals-against average. Against the Clones, he's posted a 3-1-1 mark along with a 2.47 GAA. Joel Martin has also seen ample time, going 7-5-0-2 with a 2.60 GAA.

LAST HEAD-TO-HEAD MEETING: Defenseman Zach Miskovic buried his first game-winning goal of the season as the Cyclones rang in 2014 with a 2-1 overtime win over the Wings in front of 1,913 at Wings Stadium on January 3. Joe Howe was magnificent, making 29 saves to remain unbeaten in regulation while Jack Combs extended his goal-scoring streak to five consecutive games.

Extra-Session Success: With another OT win last week, the Clones have improved their incredible record to 9-2 when playing in the extra session. Their 20 points in games that go beyond 60 minutes are tied for the most in the ECHL, while their 81.8 winning percentage is alone atop the league.

Four Score and Win: Thanks to a recent string of excellent offense, the Cyclones have been very difficult to beat. In games where Cincy scores four goals or more, they have amassed a 14-1-0 record.

Middle Period Muster: Ben Simon's team has found its stride in the second period this season. Their 40 goals-scored in the middle frame is the most of any team in the ECHL.
