Tonight's Matchup: The San Francisco Bulls (12-18-4-1) head into game two of their three-in-three weekend series against the Alaska Aces (20-9-1-1), tonight, at the Cow Palace. This is the fourth of 12 meetings between these clubs this season. The Bulls are 1-2-0-0 in the season series.

Last night San Francisco lost game one of the series, 3-2. The Bulls put up a good fight, but couldn't come back after surrendering two quick goals at the end of the second period. Dean Ouellet and Steven Tarasuk had the tallies for San Francisco. Dale Mitchell, Brett Findlay, Chris Crane and Riley Brace had assists. Tyler Beskorowany had 31 saves in the loss.

With the recent loss of Tyler Gron and Adrian Foster to the AHL, the Bulls will be looking for others to step up. Among them are forwards Ouellet and Findlay. After Ouellet's goal and Findlay's assist in last night's contest, the two share nearly identical stat lines. On San Francisco's active roster, they are first in assists (16), and points (23). They are tied for the second most goals, with seven each. In addition, Findlay's 23 points are tied for the fifth most in the ECHL among rookies.

To rebound from last night's defeat, the Bulls will need to keep an eye on Alaska forward Evan Trupp, who is tied for the team lead in goals (10), and is second in assists (19), and points (29). He has been one of their hottest players recently, with 11 points (3g, 8a) in their past 10 games. In his three games against San Francisco this season, he has compiled four points (2g, 2a).

San Francisco is tied with the Utah Grizzlies for sixth place in the Western Conference with 29 points. They are two points in front of the Bakersfield Condors. Alaska is in second place in the Western Conference with 42 points. They are one point ahead of the Colorado Eagles, and 10 back of the Ontario Reign.

Tonight the Bulls are celebrating their second annual Scout Night. To get special Scout Night tickets including a chalk talk with Head Coach Pat Curcio before the game and post-game shots on goal, click here.

Tomorrow San Francisco wraps up their three games series with the Aces. The Bulls will be hosting their second annual LGBT night. They'll be auctioning off specialty LGBT jerseys during the game. The contest begins at 7:30 pm.
