(Toledo, OH) - Forward Trevor Parkes has been reassigned by the NHL's Detroit Red Wings to the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins.

Parkes is the leading scorer for the Walleye this season with 16 goals and 16 assists in 26 contests. Over the last three years, the native of Fort Erie, Ontario has skated in 48 ECHL games with 34 goals and 32 assists. The 22-year-old has also appeared in 84 games with the Griffins.

Grand Rapids hosts Iowa tonight and tomorrow.
