ALBANY, NY - The second-place Albany Devils welcome the first-place Toronto Marlies to Times Union Center Sunday at 3 pm. The contest is a potential preview of a second-round Calder Cup Playoffs matchup between the two teams.
- The Devils are second in the Eastern Conference and in the North Division at 43-19-8-2 (.667). The Marlies are first in the conference and first in the division at 51-15-5-1 (.750).
- Albany is 25-6-3-1 at home, while Toronto is 26-7-3-1 on the road.
- The game features "Military Appreciation." All active and retired service members will receive free admission to the game by showing proper identification at the Box Office. The festivities begin at 1 pm in the Times Union Center atrium for a pregame party. Representatives from various military branches will be on hand with interactive information for fans.
- The Devils will be wearing special camouflaged jerseys for "Military Appreciation." Fans will have the opportunity to bid on the uniforms online and all proceeds will benefit the Veterans Miracle Center.
- Castleton Elementary School will perform the United States National Anthem.
- Colonel Lee Schiller from the Watervliet Arsenal will participate in the ceremonial puck drop.
