Jankowski Leads Way Offensively with First Multi-Point Effort but Heat Fall to San Diego

April 10, 2016 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Stockton Heat News Release

Stockton, Calif. - Rookie forward Mark Jankowski led the way offensively with his two assists on Kenny Agostino and Garnet Hathaway's respective tallies, but the Stockton Heat were not able to stymie San Diego's attack and the Gulls skated away with the 6-2 victory Saturday at Stockton Arena. The assists were Jankowski's second and third of his pro career, while Agostino continues to add to his career season with his 21st goal of his 2015-16 campaign. Unfortunately, Matt Hackett and his 30-save performance proved tough to beat, as the Heat fell for the second-straight game on their three-game homestand. The Stockton Heat will finish off that three-game homestand Sunday evening right back in Stockton, as the Heat and the Gulls finish off their season series against each other.
