Flames Assign Five Players to Stockton

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned forwards Turner Elson, Hunter Shinkaruk, and Drew Shore and defensemen Oliver Kylington and Pat Sieloff to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Stockton Heat.

Elson, Kylington, and Sieloff made their NHL debuts in last night's win over Minnesota with the 21-year-old Sieloff scoring his first NHL goal (the game winner) and 23-year-old Elson recording his first NHL point (an assist). Shinkaruk was acquired in a trade with Vancouver on February 22nd and after his recall from Stockton he scored his first NHL goal on March 30th, he added another two points (1G, 1A) in seven total games for the club. Shore was recalled on April 7th and played two games for Calgary where he posted an assist.
