VS. WINTERHAWKS: Tonight marks the lone annual meeting between the Winterhawks and Tigers as they make their way through the Central Division. Last year the Tigers dropped a 4-1 decision in the state of Oregon. Portland is coming off of a 4-2 victory over the Hurricanes last night and the Tabbies snapped their 8 game losing streak last night, beating the Calgary Hitmen 3-2.

Portland is unbeaten in their past 5 games (4-0-1-0), as they have taken 3 of those games to overtime
Tigers forward Steven Owre has been hot since returning from long term injury on January 25th, the California native has scored 6 goals and assisted on 4 others (10 points) over the 11 games since coming back
Portland's goaltender Adin Hill has started the last 25 games, backup Michael Bullion hasn't started since December 19th, 2015

FEBRUARY 20TH TEAM HISTORY: We head back to the 1998-1999 season as the Tigers took on the Red Deer Rebels. Led by Berkeley Buchko's 2 goals and Ben Thomson's 3 assists, the Tabbies went on to beat the Rebels 4-0. Scott Buhler recorded a 35 save shutout, his only donut on the season. The victory ended up being only the 13th on the season, but snapped a 12 game losing streak
OFFENSE: Medicine Hat's offense has struggled as of late, but some of their struggles haven't come because of a lack of chances. The Tigers have hit posts, crossbars and have faced hot goaltenders on their current slide, not making it easy. Since their 3 game winning streak in middle of January, the Tigers have scored 28 goals while they allowed 60 as they only have 3 wins in 14 games.

Lysiak was voted in at #39 and played 3 seasons with the Tabbies, recording back to back seasons of 143 and 157 points respectively. Lysiak also holds the 2nd and 3rd most assists in Tigers franchise history for a single year after recording 97 and 96 in back to back seasons
