Future Football Stars to Throw Out First Pitches Tonight at Metro Bank Park

On Wednesday night at Metro Bank Park, the Harrisburg Senators will welcome several Big 33 Pennsylvania football players and coaches. The players and coaches will be recognized in a pre-game ceremony and throw out the first pitch tonight before the Senators take on the Erie SeaWolves.

The following Big 33 players are set to throw out first pitches:

James Capello (Lebanon) -- He will attend Iowa State Gary Gilliam (Milton Hershey) -- He will attend Penn State Jordan Hill (Steel-High) -- He will attend Penn State Anthony Holmes (Harrisburg) -- He is undecided Chris Houston (Harrisburg) -- He will attend New Hampshire Jack Lippert (Central Dauphin) -- He will attend Pittsburgh

And the coaches to throw out first pitches:

Frank Gay (Red Land coach) Glenn McNamee (Central Dauphin coach) Rob Deibler (Steel-High coach)

The Big 33 game is Saturday, June 20th at 7:00pm at Hersheypark Stadium. The Big 33 originated in 1957 and showcases the outstanding high school talent in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Pennsylvania leads Ohio 9-7 in the series.

Some of the most well-known alums include: Tony Dorsett, Matt Millen, Joe Montana, Joe Namath, John Cappelletti, Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Rocket Ismail, Kerry Collins and more recently Kyle Brady, Orlando Pace, Ricky Watters, Antonio Freeman, Ed McCaffrey, Marvin Harrison, Sean Gilbert, Curtis Martin and 2006 Super Bowl Champion, Ben Roethlisberger.

The Senators and Erie SeaWolves continue their three-game series tonight at Metro Bank Park. Fans can buy half off General Admission tickets brought to you by Ollie's Bargain Outlet. Adult GA are $2.50 per ticket and Youth/Senior GA are $1.50 per ticket.
