LAST WEEK: Fresno went 2-1-0 during its three-game home stand, splitting a pair of games against Alaska, and wrapping up the week with a win over Bakersfield. The Falcons are 2-1-2 for 6 points and are in third place of the Pacific Division, two points behind first-place Las Vegas.
Tuesday, October 23 vs. Alaska FALCONS 4 Aces 2
The Falcons picked up their first win of the season with a 4-2 win over the Aces. Fresno got off to a quick start, getting first-period goals from Jarrett Konkle, Luke Curtin, and Joe Van Culin to take a 3-1 lead into the first intermission. Oren Eizenman provided the Falcons with some breathing room, scoring a power-play goal 6:36 into the third period. Alaska pulled within two at 9:41 on a Matt Shasby power-play goal, but John Ceci held the Aces off the scoreboard the rest of the way to pick up the win in his pro debut.
Friday, October 26 vs. Alaska Aces 5 FALCONS 1
Alaska scored the first four goals of the game on its way to a 5-1 win at Save Mart Center on Friday. Oren Eizenman got the Falcons on the board late in the second period, but Josh Soares tallied early in the third period for Alaska to set the final.
Saturday, October 27 vs. Bakersfield FALCONS 3 Condors 2
The two rivals came out swinging with two fights in the first five seconds of the game, and three in the first period. Oren Eizenman opened the scoring for Fresno with a power-play goal 7:24 into the first period. Bakersfield came back to take the lead, scoring two power-play goals just 35 seconds apart midway through the second period. P.O. Beaulieu tallied his first goal of the season 16:18 into the second period to tie the score heading into the final period. The score remained tied until the closing minutes, when Igor Gongalsky notched his first pro goal with just 1:44 remaining in regulation to give the Falcons the win. Kris Mayotte recorded his first with the Falcons, stopping 28 Condors shots.

The Falcons open a seven-game road trip in the desert with a pair of games against Phoenix. Last season, Fresno was 4-3-0 against Phoenix, including 2-1-0 at US Airways Center. The RoadRunners are in the midst of a season-opening 12-game home stand, and have started the year 3-2-0 for 6 points, which has them in first place of the West Division.
BROADCAST NOTE: Thursday's game airs live on 790 ESPN Radio, The Deuce, starting with the Port of Subs Pre-Game Show. Saturday's game will air on a tape-delayed basis following the completion of USC football.
FALCONS NOTES
- After starting the season with four of its first five games at home, Fresno now embarks on a seven-game road trip. The Falcons do not return to Save Mart Center until November 24.
- The Falcons have scored one power-play goal in each of their five games.
- Oren Eizenman has a goal in three straight games, all of which have come on the power play
- Luke Curtin has a point in four straight games, moving him into 17th place in ECHL history with 529 career points.

FALCONS RETURN HOME NOVEMBER 24
The Falcons return from their season-long seven-game road trip on Saturday, November 24, hosting the Alaska Aces at 7:30 p.m. The first 3,000 fans in attendance receive a Falcons poster courtesy of Midas and Port of Subs.
