STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers and American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons, announced rookie defenseman Sebastien Bisaillon (Bih-SIGH-yawn) has been assigned to the Thunder from Springfield.

Bisaillon, 20, appeared in two regular season games with the Oilers last year, making his NHL debut on March 19 against the Vancouver Canucks and spent time this season in training camp with Edmonton, appearing in one preseason game (2-1 win at Phoenix on September 25). In two games this year with Springfield, Bisaillon tallied two assists.

"We're happy to add Sebastien to our lineup and he'll have opportunities to earn a significant amount of ice time as he develops as a professional," said Thunder head coach Chris Cichocki. "He carries a hard, booming shot which will help upgrade our power play."

Bisaillon is expected to make his debut in a Thunder uniform against the Idaho Steelheads this Friday, November 2 at Stockton Arena and will wear jersey number 32.
