Victoria Salmon Kings News Release

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that the organization has traded for Johnstown Chiefs defenseman Bryan Nathe for future considerations.

The Elk River, MN native has played in one game for Johnstown this season. Last year, he suited up for 54 games scoring two goals and adding 11 assists.

Bryan is a big strong defensive defenseman that has the ability to move the puck well," Dan Belisle Vice President of Hockey Operations and General Manager said. "We believe that acquiring a talented and reliable defenseman would nicely compliment the offensive capabilities that our current blueliners presently possess."

The 6-0, 190 pound Nathe has played four years in the ECHL. Previously, the 24-year-old played in the WHL and the NCAA.
