(Toledo, OH) - The National Hockey League's Detroit Red Wings have assigned defenseman Gleason Fournier to the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League.
Fournier has skated in 15 games this season with Toledo and has one goal and a plus 8. The 21 year old defenseman has also in 21 games this season with the Griffins, scoring once with 3 assists and 23 penalty minutes. In 55 games last year with the Walleye, the Rimouski, Quebec native had 2 goals and 16 assists.
