
Four T-Birds Ranked in NHL Central Scouting Mid-Term Rankings

Kent,January 10, 2011 - The Seattle Thunderbirds are pleased to announce four players have been ranked in NHL Central Scouting's Mid-Term Rankings of players eligible for the 2011 NHL Draft. NHL Central Scouting released the mid-term rankings today.
Center Colin Jacobs, from Coppell, Texas, is ranked 40th. Jacobs has appeared in 39 games this season and has 15 goals and 13 assists.
Left wing Marcel Noebels, from Tonisvorst, Germany, is ranked 48th. Noebels has 24 points on 12 goals and 12 assists in 36 games this season. Noebels was the T-Birds first round selection, 10th overall, in the 2010 CHL Import Draft.
Center Luke Lockhart, from Burnaby, British Columbia, is ranked 73rd. Lockhart has appeared in 40 games this season and has 31points on 14 goals and 17 assists.
Left wing Mitch Elliot from Prince George, British Columbia, is ranked 107th. Elliot has eight points on three goals and five assists in 41 games.
Each hockey season NHL Central Scouting puts out three sets of rankings for first year draft eligible players from North America and Europe. The Preliminary rankings precede the Mid-Term Rankings. NHL Scouting Final Rankings come out sometime in April.
The T-Birds travel to Kennewick on Tuesday to face the Tri-City Americans at 7:05pm at Toyota Center.
The T-Birds host the Everett Silvertips on Friday, January 14, at ShoWare Center at 7:35pm in a game that will be televised on FSN.
T-Birds single game tickets for the 2010-11 season are available online at the T-Birds website and at the ShoWare Center box office. The ShoWare Center Box Office is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday game days at 10 a.m. and Sunday game days at noon.
T-Birds group tickets are currently on sale. Group tickets can be purchased by calling the T-Birds office at 253-239-7825.
