Raiders Exchange Euros with Warriors

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan- In a swap of European players, the Prince Albert Raiders have acquired 17 year-old centre Michal Hlinka from the Moose Jaw Warriors in exchange for 19 year-old centre Sebastian Svendsen. The Raiders also acquire the Warriors 3rd round and 6th round selections in the 2011 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.

Hlinka, from Trencin, Slovakia was the Warriors first selection in the 2010 CHL European draft, 28th overall. He has appeared in 22 games with the Warriors this season with 4 goals, 2 assists and 10 minutes in penalties.

Svendsen, from Hvidovre, Denmark, was acquired by the Raiders this past summer from the Edmonton Oil Kings in exchange for Jordan Hickmott. In 44 games with the Raiders this season Svendsen has 17 goals and 17 assists to go along with 42 minutes in penalties
