Forward Shawn St-Amant Returns to Eagles

WINDSOR, CO. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliates of the Colorado Avalanche, announced today that forward Shawn St-Amant has been assigned to the Eagles by the team's AHL affiliate the San Antonio Rampage. The 6-foot, 195-pound winger has notched two goals in five games with the Eagles this season. The 21 year-old posted 15 goals and 13 assists in 35 regular season games with Colorado during the 2016-17 campaign. He would go on to generate five goals and 10 assists in 20 postseason contests, culminating in a 2017 Kelly Cup Championship.

Prior to turning pro, St-Amant enjoyed a three-year career in the QMJHL with the Val-D'Or Foreurs where he posted 113 points in 194 games. He helped the Foreurs capture a QMJHL title during the 2013-14 season and went on to enjoy his most productive season during the 2015-16 campaign, when he generated 23 goals and 34 assists in 60 games and claimed the Guy Carbonneau Trophy as the league's Best Defensive Forward.

In addition to his time with the Eagles, St-Amant has also seen action 28 AHL games with the Rampage, posting three goals and five assists during the 2016-17 season.

Colorado begins a three-game series with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits on Wednesday, November 22nd at the Budweiser Events Center at 7:05pm. Tickets are available at Colorado Eagles.com.
