Orlando completes trades with Cincinnati, Adirondack
GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Orlando Solar Bears have announced a pair of trades: Orlando has acquired rookie forward Andrew Radjenovic from the Cincinnati Cyclones to complete the future considerations portion of the Oct. 2 transaction that sent Austin Block to Cincinnati; the Solar Bears have subsequently dealt Radjenovic to the Adirondack Thunder in exchange for rookie forward J.C. Campagna.
Campagna, 24, has posted nine points (3g-6a) and four penalty minutes in 12 games this season with the Thunder. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound forward also logged 10 points (4g-6a) and six penalty minutes in 16 games with Adirondack when he turned pro this past spring.
Prior to turning pro, the Dallas, Texas native skated three seasons in the Canadian USports system for the University of Prince Edward Island and St. Thomas University (New Brunswick), producing a stat line of 55 points (29g-26a) and 87 penalty minutes in 84 total games.
Campagna also played major junior hockey in the Qubec Major Junior Hockey League for the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, Shawinigan Cataractes, Québec Remparts and Moncton; he also saw time in the Ontario Hockey League with the Sarnia Sting and Peterborough Petes - Campagna's major junior totals include 112 points (58g-54a) and 149 penalty minutes in 244 career games.
Orlando takes the ice against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits on Sunday, Nov. 19 at 3 p.m. at Bon Secours Wellness Arena as the team concludes a three-game road trip. The Solar Bears return home to face the Jacksonville Icemen at the ARS.com Rink at Amway Center on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. Single-game tickets for the 2017-18 season are now on sale at the Amway Center box office and ticketmaster.com.
