Reading Royals News Release
Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL, today announced that forward Cam Reid has been loaned to the Utica Comets of the AHL.
This marks the second trip to the AHL this season for Reid, a fourth year pro from Tsawwassen, Delta, British Columbia. Reid played one game with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in late November without registering any points or penalty minutes. He has played 83 AHL games with five different teams during his career (6g-20a26pts). This is his first trip to Utica. The Royals return to action tonight (Friday, December 18 @ 7:00 pm) at Santander Arena in Reading where the team will face the Elmira Jackals. On Friday, the Royals will wear the Ugly Sweater Jerseys and the organization will give away a pretzel tree ornament to the first 2000 fans courtesy of Toys for Tots. Friday's game night broadcast can be heard live on CBS SportsRadio 1240 am and 98.5 in Reading, Pennsylvania, starting with the pre-game warm-up show presented by Highmark Blue Shield at 6:30 pm Eastern Time.
