INDIANAPOLIS - Pedro Florimon hammered a bases-clearing triple in the eighth inning to salt away a 5-1 victory for the Indians over Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and give the Tribe its fourth win in its last five games against first place opponents.

Kyle Lobstein made his first start of the 2016 season after spending his first portion of the year in the Pirates' bullpen. With a limited pitch count, Lobstein capitalized on the opportunity and tossed four shutout innings on two hits and no walks.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (24-19) trotted out southpaw Dietrich Enns (1-1) who took the loss after a solid six innings and two runs surrendered.

John Kuchno (1-3) claimed his first win of the season after working two innings in relief of Lobstein, allowing one run.

Indianapolis (21-19) scored a loud first run in the fourth on Josh Bell's fourth home run of the year.

The RailRiders plated a tying run in the top of the sixth after Pete Kozma doubled and scored on an RBI knock from Aaron Judge.

The tie was short-lived, though, as a leadoff double from Bell put the Indians in business quickly in the home half. He would later score to retake the lead for the home club, 2-1.

Pedro Florimon broke the game open in the eighth when he turned a 2-2 pitch into a bases-loaded triple to the right field corner.

Jorge Rondon and Curtis Partch were the final two men to appear out of the Indians' bullpen.

Game two of the series is set for tomorrow at 7:05 p.m. Victory Field will host its second MARVEL Super Hero Night of the year, donning Iron Man themed uniforms.
