Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (22-18) play Game 2 of a four-game series at Coca-Cola Park against the fourth-place Toledo Mud Hens (17-22), who the Pigs just swept in three games at Fifth Third Field from May 13-15... With an 8-7 walk-off win in 15 innings last night, the Pigs have won three in a row and seven of their last eight contests. In addition, they have improved to 3-1 on this seven-game homestand... The Mud Hens -- Detroit's top affiliate -- have lost back-to-back games and seven of their last eight against the Pigs going back to last season. In addition, the Hens have dumped six of their last seven contests after an 8-4 stretch to start May (they finished 8-12 in April).
RHP Jake Thompson (2-4, 3.32) will start for LHV against LHP Matt Boyd (1-3, 1.93).
Tonight is a Friday Night Fireworks, presented by Labatt Blue... First-Pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
