Wings Fall 4-1 in Durham Friday Night

Durham, N.C. - The Wings' three-game win streak was snapped Friday night as Blake Snell and the Durham Bulls beat the Wings 4-1 down in North Carolina.

Logan Darnell (4-4) suffered the loss, allowing four runs on 10 hits in 5.1 IP. Meanwhile, Snell limited Rochester to just three hits over six scoreless innings to pick up his 2nd win of the season with Durham.

The Wings' lone run came on an RBI double from Kennys Vargas in the 9th inning. He's now recorded an RBI in nine straight games - 13 total over that stretch.

Kyle Roller hit a solo home run off Darnell in the 5th inning to get the scoring started. Daniel Robertson followed with a sac fly later in the inning to extend the Durham lead to 2-0.

The Bulls added two more runs in the 6th inning on RBI from Roller and Juniel Querecuto to make it 4-0.

Rochester will send RHP Jose Berrios to the mound on Saturday to make his first start for the Wings since April 21.
