The Lehigh Valley IronPigs have chosen Great American Power as Coca-Cola Park's long-term energy provider, as the agreement will run through at least the 2018 season. Founded in Pennsylvania, Great American Power is approved and licensed by the Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission and provides electric service in PPL, PECO, and other utility territories.
"We look forward to partnering with Great American Power for our energy solutions for the next three years at Coca-Cola Park," remarked IronPigs President and General Manager, Kurt Landes. "Their experience in the marketplace along with their competitive rates made this an easy decision for our organization. We have seen two major benefits already by signing our contract with Great American Power, significant monthly savings and future price certainty."
