
Pigs Look for Fourth Straight Win

SS J.P. Crawford will make his Triple-A debut when the Lehigh Valley IronPigs look for their fourth straight win on Friday night against the Toledo Mud Hens. First pitch from Coca-Cola Park is slated for 7:05 p.m.
RHP Jake Thompson (2-4, 3.32) gets the ball for manager Dave Brundage's squad on Friday night. The right-hander allowed two hits while walking two and fanning four over seven shutout innings against Toledo on Sunday. Over his last 3 GS, Thompson has allowed just one earned run.
LHP Matt Boyd (1-3, 1.93) will be on the bump for Toledo opposite Thompson. On Sunday vs. the Pigs, Boyd was tagged with the loss after giving up two runs on five hits to go along with two walks and five strikeouts in 7.0 IP. The Oregon State product has held runners to a .152 average (5-33) with runners in scoring position this season.
Crawford hit .265-3-13 in 36 G with Double-A Reading this season. The Long Beach, Calif., native is ranked as the No. 1 prospect in the Phillies system by Baseball America and the No. 6 overall prospect in MiLB.
There will be Friday Night Fireworks presented by Labatt Blue following the game. Friday is also St. Luke's EMS Night.
