Florida Panthers Reassign G Dan Ellis to San Antonio

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has reassigned G Dan Ellis to the San Antonio Rampage (AHL).

Ellis, 34, has played in eight games with Florida this season, recording a 4-3-1 record with one shutout. For his career, Ellis has appeared in 212 career NHL games with Dallas (2003-2004, 2013-2014), Nashville (2007-2010), Tampa Bay (2010-2011), Anaheim (2011-2012), Carolina (2012-2013) and Florida (2013-2014), posting a 87-79-0-18 record with 15 shutouts.

The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native has appeared in 36 games with the San Antonio Rampage this season, owning a 22-11-3 record with two shutouts.
