
Comets Sign Ashton Sautner to a PTO

Utica Comets Director of Hockey Operations, Pat Conacher, announced today that the Comets have signed defenseman Ashton Sautner to a professional tryout contract (PTO).
Sautner, 20, has 51 points in 72 games for the Edmonton Oil Kings this season (12-39-51) and has recorded 38 penalty minutes. The Edmonton Oil Kings captain has also appeared in 58 playoff games registering 20 points (6-14-20) and 34 penalty minutes. He helped the Oil Kings capture the 2014 Memorial Cup.
The 6'0", 192-pound defenseman is a native of Flaxcombe, SK.
