
Canucks Reassign AHL All-Star Jacob Markstrom to Comets

Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the Canucks have reassigned American Hockey League All-Star goaltender Jacob Markstrî=B6m to the AHL Utica Comets.
Markstrî=B6m, 25, has compiled a record of 19-7-2 including five shutouts with the Utica Comets this season. He currently ranks second in the AHL with a 1.91 goals-against average and third with a .932 save percentage, and has allowed two goals or fewer in 21 of his 28 starts for the Western Conference leading Utica Comets.
The Galve, SWE native has also appeared in three games with the Vancouver Canucks this season. In 50 NHL games split between Vancouver and Florida, the Gavle, Sweden native has a record of 13-28-5 with a 3.19 goals against average.
The 6'6", 196-pound goaltender was originally selected by Florida 31st overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
