
Florida Panthers Acquire D Steven Kampfer and F Andrew Yogan from New York Rangers

Sunrise, FL- Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has acquired D Steven Kampfer and F Andrew Yogan from the New York Rangers in exchange for F Joey Crabb.
Kampfer, 26, appeared in 69 games with the Iowa Wild in the 2013-14 season recording six goals and 20 assists (6-20-26). Throughout hiscareer, he has played in 61 NHL games with the Boston Bruins (2010-12) and Minnesota Wild (2011-12) recording seven goals and eight assists (7-8-15).
The Ann Arbor, MI native was drafted 93rd overall in the 2007 NHL Draft by the Anaheim Ducks.
Andrew Yogan is a native of Coral Springs, FL and was drafted 100th overall in 2010 by the Rangers. Last season he appeared in 40 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack before finishing out the season with the Greenville Road Warriors.
Yogan appeared in 17 games for the Road Warriors during the ECHL postseason recording seven goals and 11 assists (7-11-18).
The Florida Panthers open the 2014-2015 season on Thursday, Oct. 9, in Tampa Bay against the Lightning.
