Canucks Assign Nicklas Jensen to Comets

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the Canucks have assigned left wing Nicklas Jensen to the AHL Utica Comets.

Jensen, 23, recorded four points (2-2-4) in six games with the Vancouver Canucks during the 2014 NHL Pre-Season. Last season he appeared in 17 games for the Canucks, collecting six points (3-3-6) and 54 games with the Utica Comets, tallying 21 points (15-6-21).

The Herning, Denmark native was originally selected by Vancouver in the first round, 29th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
