
Amerks Open 2014-15 Season on Friday, October 10 vs. the Adirondack

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans' 59th season begins Friday, Oct. 10 when the team hosts the Adirondack Flames in its Home Opener at The Blue Cross Arena at 7:05 p.m. The 2014-15 Amerks season is presented by Seneca Niagara Casinos.
The opening night festivities will include a pregame Happy Hour beginning at 5:00 p.m. and a postgame Meet & Greet with the Amerks players, presented by the Democrat and Chronicle Media Group.
The Amerks Happy Hour gets underway at 5:00 p.m. in the Upper Atrium Bar (Hall of Fame area) and features $2 Molson and Coors Light drafts for fans ages 21 and older. The band Strictly Hip will perform prior to the game as well as during the first intermission. Following the game, Amerks players will be available for a Meet & Greet session with fans in the Hall of Fame area that will last approximately 45 minutes. The Democrat and Chronicle Media Group will provide an Amerks autograph poster for fans.
Friday's Home Opener will also feature the first "Mystery Puck" of the season, where a limited number of specially-designed Amerks pucks, signed by various players, will be for sale. Fans in attendance will receive a 2014-15 Amerks magnet schedule courtesy of Seneca Niagara Casinos upon entering and can also get their picture taken in a Fan Photo Booth set up in the Upper Atrium, courtesy of the Democrat and Chronicle Media Group.
The Amerks are also offering a special Opening Weekend T-Shirt and Ticket package. For just $25, fans can purchase a specialty Amerks T-shirt and a ticket to both the Home Opener vs. Adirondack on Friday, Oct. 10 and the game on Saturday, Oct. 11 vs. Hamilton.
