
Five Players Added to Eastern League All-Star Rosters

PORTLAND, MAINE - The Portland Sea Dogs, in conjunction with the Eastern League of Professional Baseball, have announced five additions to the 2015 Eastern League All-Star Game rosters. The Sea Dogs will host the 2015 Sullivan Tire All-Star Classic at Hadlock Field on Wednesday, July 15th, at 7:00 PM.
Joining the Eastern Division All-Star roster are left-handed pitcher Dario Alvarez (Binghamton), right-handed pitcher Brady Lail (Trenton), outfielder Brian Pointer (Reading), and right-handed pitcher Madison Younginer (Portland). They take the roster spots vacated by Binghamton Mets right-handed pitcher Paul Sewald (participating in the Pan-Am Games), Trenton Thunder right-handed pitcher Nick Goody (promoted to Triple-A), Reading Fightin Phils outfielder Cam Perkins (injury), and Mets right-handed pitcher Luis Cessa (promoted to Triple-A).
Erie SeaWolves right-handed pitcher Tommy Collier has been added to the Western Division All-Star roster. He takes the roster spot of Bowie Baysox righty Terry Doyle, who is unable to pitch in the game due to his scheduled start on Monday.
Limited tickets for the Sullivan Tire All-Star Classic are available and can be purchased by visiting the Sea Dogs' Ticket Office at Hadlock Field, calling 800-936-3647, or online at seadogs.com.
The Hadlock Field gates will open at 3:00 PM on July 15th. Festivities include autograph sessions with the all-stars presented by the Asylum Sports Bar & Grill, the Electricity Maine Home Run Derby, and a post-game fireworks show presented by Coca-Cola.
The All-Star Classic will be televised regionally throughout New England on NESN with Tom Caron and Mike Antonellis on the call, via the web on MiLB.tv, and on radio on 95.5 and 95.9 FM WPEI, as well as online via the TuneIn Radio App.
