In search of the club's fifth consecutive win, the BEARS return to GIANT Center Saturday to face the Toronto Marlies. HERSHEY begins the day first overall in the American Hockey League with 42 points.

On Friday, the BEARS made the journey to south Philly and defeated the Phantoms 2-1. Down 1-0 less than two minutes into the game, Dave Steckel tied the game with a goal early in the second period. That set the stage for Alexandre Giroux's 21st goal of the season early in the third, which eventually became the game-winner. Tomas Fleischmann scored an empty-net, short-handed goal in the closing seconds to put the game on ice.

Toronto enters play tonight coming off of a big come-from-behind win at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Friday night. A short-handed goal late in the third period by the Marlies forced overtime, where Kris Newbury won the game for Toronto with 36 seconds left in sudden death. The win by the Marlies enabled the BEARS to increase its East Division lead to two points over the Penguins.

After a rare night off Friday, Frederic Cassivi is expected to return to the goal crease Saturday evening. Cassivi is tied for 10th all-time in AHL history in wins with 202, and can climb into a ninth place tie Saturday with a victory. Former BEARS and Philadelphia Phantoms goaltender Neil Little won 203 games during his AHL career.

Saturday is CKC Pharmacy and Gift Shop Night at GIANT Center, with the first 2,500 fans through the gates receiving a free $10 gift card good at any CKC Pharmacy and Gift Shop. Tickets remain for the game at the GIANT Center box office, or by calling (717) 508-BEAR. The game can also be heard in central Pennsylvania via the BEARS Radio Network (100.1 FM, 1490-AM, and 960-AM). John Walton has the call of the action beginning with the pre-game show at 6:40 p.m.
