Game Notes: After their 8-4 loss to Hamilton last night, the Rochester Americans will look to rebound tonight as they take on the visiting Binghamton Senators at The Blue Cross Arena. The 7:35 p.m. contest will be broadcast live on Hot Talk 1280-AM WHTK, whtk.com and B2 Networks. The game will also be televised tape delayed on TWSN. Tonight is the final day of the Amerks Toys for Tots Toy Drive. Fans that bring a new, unwrapped toy to the game will receive one free $16.00 ticket.

Amerks to Ring Bells for Salvation Army: Members of the Rochester Americans hockey team and their mascot, The Moose, will ring bells to raise money for the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign on Tuesday, December 19th. Amerks Dylan Hunter and Michael Ryan will ring bells from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the four corners in downtown Rochester. Greg Jacina and Patrick Kaleta will work the second shift from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Joining the Amerks will be The Moose, Rex the Rhino and Pat Dutton of the Rochester Knighthawks and Rattlers.

Head-to-Head: Tonight's game will be Rochester's first against Binghamton in over a month. In their last meeting on November 10th, the Amerks handed the B-Sens a 4-2 loss at The Blue Cross Arena. Rochester is 3-0-0 this season and 14-15-4 all-time against its rivals from the Southern Tier.

Amerks Notes: Rochester (19-6-1-0, 39 points) is currently in first place in the North Division and is second to the Chicago Wolves for the best record in the Western Conference. Amerk winger Daniel Paille had his point-scoring streak snapped at six games last night. Paille had tallied two goals and seven assists during the six-game stretch. He has three goals and 12 assists in 17 games for the Amerks this season. Forward Drew Stafford has seven points (4+3) in his last four games, including a goal and two assists last night. Stafford has nine goals and seven assists in 16 games this season. Goaltender Adam Dennis' struggles continued last night as he dropped to 1-3-0 in his last four starts. Dennis has given up 20 goals in that span after giving up 17 goals in his previous seven starts. The Toronto native is 7-4-0 with a 3.10 GAA and .906 SV% this season.

Senators Notes: Binghamton (9-16-1-2, 21 points) enters the game in sixth place in the East Division. The Senators are 5-4-1-0 in their last 10 games. Last night, Binghamton suffered a 7-5 loss to the Norfolk Admirals. Jeff Heerema leads the AHL with 125 shots on goal. Andrew Ebbett is tied for fourth in the AHL in points among rookies with 27 (8+19). He also leads league rookies with 19 assists. On Friday, the Ottawa Senators reassigned centers Serge Payer and Josh Hennessy to Binghamton Senators. Payer received his first emergency call-up of the season on December 8th. In four games with the Senators he recorded no points, two shots on goal and averaged 6:30 of ice time.
