MIDLAND, MI - A season-high 5,763 fans packed Dow Diamond Friday night for a post-game Fireworks Loontacular, powered by Dow Corning and an appearance by national entertainment act Zooperstars!. As for the game, the Bowling Green Hot Rods continued their series dominance over the Great Lakes Loons, capturing a 2-1 victory to claim a three-game series sweep.
Tyler Goeddel snapped a 1-1 tie in the fifth with an RBI single to bring home what proved to be the game winning run.
Arismendy Ozoria (8-7) was charged with the loss but pitched fairly well, allowing two earned runs over five innings. The Loons bullpen held the Hot Rods scoreless.
