Today's Game : The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Lake County Captains (affiliate of the Cleveland Indians) in the last game of a three-game series. Season Series : Lake County 13, Dayton 7 (at Fifth Third Field: Lake County 7, Dragons 4).

Today's Dragons Starting Pitcher: Robert Stephenson makes his fifth Midwest League start. Stephenson was the Reds first round draft pick in 2011 (27th overall selection). He becomes the ninth first round draft pick to play for the Dragons and the first since Devin Mesoraco in 2008.

Individual Notes

- Kyle Waldrop is batting .349 (29 for 83) with two home runs over his last 23 games, raising his average from .263 to .281.

- Nick O'Shea is batting .344 over his last nine games, going 11 for 32. All four of his 2012 home runs have come in the second half.

- Mike Dennhardt has allowed runs in only one outing since June 29. Over his last 13 relief appearances, he has allowed three runs in 21 innings (1.29 ERA). All three runs came in the same inning.
