
Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Release 2013 Schedule

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have big plans for next season. Now - as the Rattlers announce their 2013 schedule - fans of the Milwaukee Brewers affiliate know when they will get to see the first game at newly renovated Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium. The team will open the 2013 Midwest League season on the road and will christen their new-look ballpark on Monday April 8.
Wisconsin starts next season with a four game series at Peoria on April 4. This marks the first time the Timber Rattlers will begin the season on the road since 2008.
The Rattlers return to Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium to begin their home schedule at 6:35pm against the Cedar Rapids Kernels. Fans attending that game will be the first to see a game at the changed home stadium.
Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium is scheduled to undergo construction after the 2012 season. The changes will include a brand new upper level that features six suites and a year-round banquet facility. There will also be the addition of restrooms and concession stands, a new exterior look, and an expanded team store for the fans.
The Timber Rattlers are scheduled to play seventy home games in 2012. Please see this link for a .pdf file of the 2013 schedule.
Individual tickets for games during the 2013 season are not available. But, fans may contact the Timber Rattlers ticket office for information about full-season and partial season ticket packages.
There are still ten home games left in the 2012 regular season for the Timber Rattlers. Wisconsin welcomes Peoria to town for a four game series from August 18-21 and Cedar Rapids for a three game series from August 22-24. The Rattlers end their 2012 home schedule with three games against the Beloit Snappers from August 29-31.
Wisconsin is also slated to host their first home playoff game since 2005 when they take on an opponent that is yet to be determined in game two of the First Round of the 2012 Midwest League Playoffs on Thursday, September 6 at 6:35pm.
